The match, scheduled for May 17, 2025, was called off without a single ball being bowled due to continuous rain.
According to the official statement from the franchise, all valid ticket holders will receive a 100% refund. For those who booked their tickets online, the refund will be processed automatically within 10 working days and credited to the original payment method.
If the refund is not received by May 31, 2025, customers are advised to email their booking details to refund@ticketgenie.in to get support.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have announced a full refund for tickets purchased for their IPL 2025 match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), which was scheduled on Saturday, May 17, at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Unfortunately, heavy and persistent rain prevented even a single ball from being bowled, leading to the match being completely washed out.
In good news for fans, RCB confirmed that all valid ticket holders are eligible for a complete refund.
Fans who purchased their tickets online will automatically receive the refund in their original payment account within 10 working days. RCB shared this update via their official social media handles, stating:
“As the game between RCB and KKR on 17th May 2025 was abandoned due to inclement weather, all valid ticket holders are eligible for a full refund. Digital ticket holders will be issued a refund within 10 working days to their original account used to book the tickets.”
For offline ticket buyers, refunds can be claimed by submitting the original physical tickets at the official purchase outlet. Complimentary tickets, however, are not eligible for a refund.
