India home season will start with a two-match Test series against the West Indies as part of the IDFC First Bank Test series. The first match will begin on October 2, 2025, in Ahmedabad, and the second Test will take place in Kolkata from October 10. This series will mark the return of red-ball cricket on Indian soil after India’s tour of England and their participation in the Asia Cup 2025.
