Leaders formed these delegations from multiple political parties, including current and former Members of Parliament (MPs) and senior diplomats. Their main mission was to explain India’s strong stand against terrorism, especially after the launch of OP Sindoor.
The meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s official residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi. During the discussion, the delegation members shared the details of their visits and what they experienced while meeting foreign leaders, officials, and representatives. They explained how they presented India’s message clearly and firmly to the international community.
The goal of these visits was to inform other countries about the threat of terrorism and how India is taking strong steps to fight it. The delegates also helped other nations understand why India launched OP Sindoor and how it is part of a bigger effort to ensure peace and security in the region.
Prime Minister Modi appreciated the efforts of the OP Sindoor delegation members. He thanked them for representing India strongly and spreading awareness about the country’s commitment to fighting terrorism. India Launches Global Diplomacy Drive
As part of India’s diplomatic efforts, special delegations were sent to major world capitals to highlight the recent Pahalgam terror attack and India’s firm response. The goal was to draw international attention to Pakistan-backed terrorism and showcase India’s strong stand for global peace.
A government official stated that the purpose of the visit was to show national unity and ensure the world hears a clear and united message from India on terrorism. This global outreach is also a strategic move to counter Pakistan’s efforts to internationalise the Kashmir issue and shift focus away from cross-border terrorism.
More than 50 people took part in India’s global outreach mission, including current and former Members of Parliament and retired diplomats. The delegations were led by prominent leaders such as BJP’s Ravi Shankar Prasad and Baijayant Panda, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, JD(U)’s Sanjay Jha, Shiv Sena’s Shrikant Shinde, DMK’s Kanimozhi, and NCP(SP)’s Supriya Sule.
The involvement of both ruling party and opposition leaders gave the campaign a bipartisan image, reflecting national unity on the issue of terrorism.

Each team focused on specific regions, including the US, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia. Their discussions covered key topics such as counterterrorism cooperation, strengthening strategic ties, and tackling misinformation and propaganda.
To show national unity, the government included a diverse group of MPs in the outreach, such as Asaduddin Owaisi (AIMIM), Manish Tewari (Congress), and Prem Chand Gupta (RJD). This inclusive approach was seen as a move to present a united stand on a critical national issue.
The campaign concluded with a high-level meeting between the Prime Minister and the delegates, marking a key milestone in India’s diplomatic push following OP Sindoor.
