IndiGo Flight Gets Bomb Threat

An IndiGo flight from Delhi to Varanasi received a bomb threat on Tuesday, the airline confirmed. Passengers were safely evacuated through emergency exits, and the plane was moved to an isolated area for inspection.

In a statement, IndiGo said, “Flight 6E2211 from Delhi to Varanasi received a bomb threat at Delhi airport. Following all necessary protocols, the aircraft was taken to a remote bay as directed by airport security.

“All passengers were safely evacuated. The flight is currently being inspected. After all security checks are completed, the aircraft will return to the terminal,” the statement added.

An IndiGo flight traveling from Delhi to Varanasi received a bomb threat. Early Morning Incident and Passenger Evacuation
The Delhi Fire Services received news of the bomb threat at 5:35 AM. Quick Response Teams (QRT) immediately arrived at the scene. All passengers on the flight were safely evacuated through the emergency exits. Thankfully, everyone is safe, and the aircraft is now being inspected thoroughly to ensure there are no dangers.

Threatening Note Found
According to PTI, the pilot found a note in the plane’s lavatory (bathroom) that read “bomb blast @ 30 minutes.” The pilot quickly informed the control room about this threat. This prompted the activation of all necessary security measures to handle the situation.

IndiGo’s Official Statement
IndiGo released a statement saying that their flight 6E2211, operating from Delhi to Varanasi, received a specific bomb threat while at Delhi airport. Following the standard safety protocols, the aircraft was moved to a remote bay as instructed by airport security agencies.

All passengers were safely evacuated using the emergency exits. The flight is currently undergoing a detailed inspection, and once all security checks are completed, the plane will be returned to the terminal.
