The assailants, who were in a Hyundai i10, fired at Rathee’s vehicle, causing critical injuries to several security guards. Jhajjar SP Arpit Jain mentioned that investigations have been initiated by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and STF teams.

The wounded individuals have been taken to Brahmashakti Sanjeevani Hospital, where, unfortunately, two of them couldn’t survive their injuries.

Nafe Singh Rathee Shot Dead

Nafe Singh Rathee, the head of INLD in Haryana, was reportedly killed in a shooting incident in Bahadurgarh. Another party member, Jaikishan, also lost his life in the attack, according to the police.

Abhay Chautala, a leader of INLD, confirmed the death of the party worker.

The attackers, driving a Hyundai i10, fired several shots at Rathee’s car, injuring multiple security personnel severely.

Arpit Jain, the Superintendent of Police in Jhajjar, stated to ANI that investigations led by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and STF have commenced, with plans for the swift arrest of the culprits.

Those wounded in the attack were taken to Brahmashakti Sanjeevani Hospital. A doctor from the hospital reported that out of the four admitted, two succumbed to their injuries due to extensive blood loss.

Dr. Manish Sharma revealed that Nafe Singh Rathee sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

Additionally, two other injured individuals are currently under intensive care with bullet injuries in their shoulders, chests, and thighs, as per the doctor’s statement.

Meanwhile, Abhay Chautala criticized the state government for failing to provide adequate security to Rathee despite known threats to his life. He also called for the resignation of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and Home Minister Anil Vij, as reported by PTI.

Following news of Nafe Singh Rathee’s shooting, former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Hooda expressed concern about the state’s law and order situation. He extended his condolences to Rathee’s family and wished a speedy recovery for the injured security personnel.

Former Congress MP Kumari Selja also lamented Rathee’s death, criticizing the BJP for what she described as a deterioration of law and order, suggesting it had led to a state of lawlessness.

AAP Haryana Vice President Anurag Dhanda echoed similar sentiments, condemning the BJP government for what he deemed a complete breakdown in law and order. He expressed shock at Rathee’s shooting, highlighting concerns about the safety of ordinary citizens.
