Air India Gives Rs 25 Lakh to Families of Crash Victims
Air India, which is now part of the Tata Group, has announced that it will give Rs 25 lakh as interim financial support to the families of those who lost their lives in the recent plane crash. The same amount will also be given to the only survivor of the tragic incident. This compensation is being offered to help the affected families handle urgent financial needs like medical bills, travel costs, or other sudden expenses that arise after such a tragedy.
This new Rs 25 lakh payment is in addition to the earlier announcement made by Tata Sons, which promised Rs 1 crore to the family of each person who died in the crash. The earlier amount was meant as full compensation, while the current payment is meant to offer quick help until the final process is completed.
Campbell Wilson, the CEO of Air India, confirmed that the airline’s management team is already in Ahmedabad, where the accident happened. He added that they will remain in the city for as long as necessary to support the families affected by the tragedy. According to Wilson, Air India is focused on giving immediate help and ensuring that the families are taken care of during this painful time.

Air India’s teams are also working with local authorities to help return the bodies to the families. The airline understands how emotional and difficult this situation is and is trying to offer every kind of support possible. The CEO also requested that the families be given privacy and space to grieve peacefully, without pressure from the media or the public.
This action by Air India reflects a strong sense of responsibility and compassion, as the airline tries to stand by the people during one of the most difficult moments of their lives.
