Navi Mumbai Police have thwarted a new plan to harm Salman Khan, the famous Bollywood actor. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang was behind this scheme to target Khan’s car in Panvel, Maharashtra. They had weapons from a supplier in Pakistan.

Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, led by jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, reportedly plotted to assassinate Bollywood actor Salman Khan at his farmhouse in Panvel, Maharashtra. Police Uncover Plot to Attack Salman Khan
The police found videos on the phones of the arrested people. These videos showed them planning to attack Salman Khan, using different weapons, like AK-47 rifles.
When the police questioned Ajay Kashyap, he admitted that he had been talking to an arms dealer in Pakistan named Doga. He wanted to get rifles like M16, AK-47, and AK-92 to do the bad thing they were planning.
One of the videos the police found showed Kashyap talking to his friend. In the video, Kashyap said they would hurt Salman Khan once they got the weapons and money. The money was supposed to come from Canada through a person named Goldie Brar.
So, the police have evidence from these videos about the plans to hurt Salman Khan and where they were getting their weapons and money from.
After a thorough investigation, it was discovered that Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar, two gangsters, promised hefty rewards to the shooters if they managed to kill the actor.
This revelation follows an incident over a month ago, on April 14, when two individuals on a motorcycle fired shots outside Salman Khan’s home in Mumbai’s Bandra area. The culprits, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, were apprehended in Gujarat, while a third suspect, Anuj Thapan, who was detained on April 26 in Punjab along with another individual, passed away in custody on May 1.
In response to the shooting, Mumbai Police has taken action under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) against all those involved.
The police have identified gangster Lawrence Bishnoi as the mastermind behind the attack, and have included MCOCA sections in the FIR.
