Created by a student of the Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute (SRFTI) in Kolkata, A Doll Made Up of Clay is a short film selected for the La Cinef section at Cannes. The story centers on Ahmed, a 23-year-old footballer from Nigeria who comes to India to chase his football dreams.
Unfortunately, a serious injury shatters his future. Struggling with pain and identity, he turns to his ancestral rituals for healing. The film is produced by Sahil Manoj Ingle, with Uma Kumari as the executive producer.
